On December 28, 2020, President Trump signed into law new legislation that creates an Investmentment Tax Credit (ITC) for home heating equipment in 2021. The new tax credit was just passed into law under Sec. 25 (D) of the tax code.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.9.5″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_column _builder_version=”4.9.5″ _module_preset=”default” type=”4_4″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.5″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]

How does it Work?<\/h1>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.5″ _module_preset=”default” text_font_size=”28px” text_line_height=”1.8em” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]

-To be eligible for the tax credit, the home heating system purchased must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Use biomass fuel, such as wood pellets, or cord wood.<\/li>\n
  2. Run at 75% efficiency heating value or higher.<\/li>\n
  3. Be purchased between January 1,2021 and December 31, 2023<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Purchase a Qualifying wood stove that meets the efficiency and biomass standards<\/li>\n
    2. You will receive a document and receipt from your purchase. Retain the receipts from your purchase as well as the manufacturer certificate stating the stove qualifications.<\/li>\n
    3.
